Robert Adamson is now an Expert in the Pharmacy OneSource Community. On October 12, 2011, Robert presented "Practice Models and Efficiencies in Clinical Pharmacy Documentation."
Robert T. Adamson, PharmD, is the Corporate Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy Services at the Saint Barnabas Healthcare System in New Jersey. His responsibilities include the supervision of clinical pharmacy activities in addition to the quality improvement and assurance activities relating to the provision of pharmaceutical care throughout Saint Barnabas Healthcare System. He also serves on the Infectious Disease Committee for the health system.
Adamson has conducted several disease research studies in the areas of infectious disease, oncology and oncology supportive care, and various internal medicine subjects. He was bestowed the Greg Santora New Jersey Pharmacist of the Year Award in 2006 and was nominated for the prestigious 2007 Codman Award for standardization of pharmacy practice within a health system. In addition to publishing his research in prestigious medical journals, he serves on the Editorial Board of Pharmacy Practice News, is a reviewer for both the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy, and presents his work at medical conferences nationally and internationally as well as on television.

Joan Hebden is now an Expert in the Pharmacy OneSource Community. On January 11, 2012, Joan presented "Best Practices in Applying Standaradized Definitions for NHSN Reporting."
Joan Hebden, RN, MS, CIC, is currently an independent infection prevention consultant who served as the Director of Infection Prevention and Control for 28 years at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. An accomplished practitioner, Hebden has presented at national epidemiology conferences, participated in research regarding the transmission of multi-drug resistant bacteria, contributed chapters on infectious diseases to nursing resource texts, and published in medical and infection control journals.
She is certified in infection control through the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, is an active member of the Association for The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Infection Control.

Misty Boachie is now an Expert in the Pharmacy OneSource Community. On January 11, 2012, Misty presented" Establishing and Advancing Clinical Pharmacy Services in Community Hospitals."
Misty Boachie received a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Georgia, prior to completing a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Columbus Regional Healthcare System, also in Georgia. In her current role, she has established and advanced various clinical programs including a pharmacokinetics consultation service, renal dosing, IV-to-PO conversion, anticoagulant monitoring, and antimicrobial surveillance.
She has presented posters on adverse drug event reporting, SCIP compliance, and National Patient Safety Goal 3E at ASHP Midyear --for which she was recognized by CompleteRx for clinical excellence in 2006, 2007, and 2008, respectively. Boachie serves on numerous hospital committees including P&T, SCIP, and the Pneumonia Taskforce.

Zahra Khudeira is now an Expert in the Pharmacy OneSource Community. On February 1, 2012, Zahra presented "Medication Safety - Everyone's Responsibility, No One's Priority."
Zahra Khudeira, PharmD, is the Medication Safety Manager of Sinai Health System in Chicago. Her role involves identifying risks in the medication use process and then mitigating the risk. She is involved in several medication safety initiatives including standardizing concentrations, smart pump technology, syringe pump data library, improving the chemotherapy preparation process and improving bar code scanning rates. She also participates in root cause analyses and failure mode and effects analysis.
Zahra is involved in the surgical care improvement project along with other quality measures. She has spoken for the Joint Commission Resources on different topics and received an ASHP Best Practice award. She has presented several posters and podium presentations at national annual meetings.

Kate Douglass is now an expert in the Pharmacy OneSource Community. On February 15, 2012, Kate presented "Top USP 797 Gaps: Results from the 2011 Compliance Survey" with Eric S. Kastango.
Kate Douglass, MS, RN, APN,C, CRNI, is the President of Performance Strategies, LLC, a performance consulting company focusing on best practice sterile compounding and drug administration assisting hospitals, home infusion, manufacturing and commercial healthcare market segments. Kate is a co-director of the 797 Compliance Study and is a module author for CriticalPoint’s sterile compounding web-based training. She has written a number of articles on sterile compounding quality and training and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Infusion Nursing.
