mini bag plus

Sorry to re-hash the use of these type of products again, but that being said, once the drug has been activated, is the beyond use time soley dependent on the drug stability when compounded in a non-iso 5 environment (1 hour?).

Thanks

Re: mini bag plus

They should be put together in an ISO 5 environment then given the expiration per the manufacturer. Usually around 28 days. The activation should not happen until it is time to hang the bag. If the bag is not given after being activated, it should be disposed of.

Agreed with above reply. Should be assembled in ISO 5 (treated the same way as a compounded sterile product with syringe). Per Baxter, 50 mL bags are 15 days expiration and 100ml and above are 30 days
