When we do our monthly cleaning, we make sure to change our chemo gowns in between compounding and cleaning since we are not open 24 hours and we don't have the ability of a set timeframe to get this done all at once. So every morning we gown up in new garb and clean our hoods with sIPA. My question is do the techs need to put a new chemo gown on to compound after cleaning with sIPA? At the end of the day we do a triple clean in the hoods, but then stop compounding until the next morning so it's not an issue. I feel like the techs can compound with the same outer chemo gown on that was worn for the sIPA cleaning.
