Based on USP 800 it is a best practice to store hazardous meds for daily use in a negative pressure room. My ADC provider is Pyxis. Does any body have experience using Pyxis in controlled environments? I don't see a problem but the company has not tested the product this way. I would like to keep my chemo meds in a Pyxis in the chemo buffer area for easy access, inventory control and safe handling. Considering they are used in OR's all the time, what keeps me from doing it? Please advise, experts welcomed. Thanks.
