Due to the cold weather, one of my techs told me that at his other facility, they could wear cotton gloves underneath their sterile gloves in the Clean Room.
I'm thinking this practice is not good. I've never heard of this and I can't find anything about cotton gloves. I'm more likely to tell him NO!. But wanted to pose the question if other sites have ever used this?

I have seen these cotton gloves worn when working in isolators to absorb the hand perspiration. Not sure how and when they don these cotton gloves in the garbing process. Not sure they are needed and the best way to tell if it is a problem would be to do gloved fingertip sampling. Hope this helps.

Thank you Eric.
My tech just provided a link to the gloves he used to be provided:
So, maybe garbing would be in our non-hazardous Ante room/Clean Room:
wear these glove liners
we actually have our personnel wear non-sterile gloves
then in the clean room don sterile gloves in hood.
