Compliant room design

We are renovating an existing 503A facility and looking at various design options and construction materials.  Other than guidance given by USP 797, USP 800, OSHA, and state regulations, what standards do I need to be concerned about meeting?

I believe I can determine what is absolutely necessary but I would like to know what materials are considered to be a step above and what is falling out of favor.

For instance;

Wall coverings:  Epoxy painted gypsum board vs. FRP panels or other material

Room design: currently we have to walk through the non-hazardous buffer room to get to our negative pressure room.  Does this need to be fixed now or can it wait?

Ceiling tiles:  Gasketed tiles with clips or gasketed ceiling grid with tiles caulked down?

Thank you,
