Ante room.. iso7 & 8

A compounding room setup with buffer, HD buffer and ante room. Can the ante room be classified as iso 7 and near the exit door be classified as iso 8? Sink would be in the iso 8 zone.

Brian,

You can't have a mixed classified room. It's either ISO Class 7 or ISO Class 8.

Re: Ante room.. iso7 & 8

Yep,  that is what I was thiniking, but I needed to ask on behalf of the hospital pharmacy department.   It might be OK if the sink was in the ISO 7 zone and you had a wall/door between Class zones 7 & 8 like a cGMP setup i have seen.  The demarcation line becomes the physical wall and door between "dirty" and "clean".

Thanks

Brian
