I was just updating my preferences when I noticed that there is a section for macros. Naturally, my inner geek would like to know more about how macros work on your board and to what purpose they serve. I looked and could not find any information on them, such as what we can put in the macro and the method in which we can execute/embed such a macro.

@GrahamOH - Great question!
So Macros can be used any time you are drafting a new post, a reply to a post, or sending a private message. When you select a Macro it will fill in the text into your message. Our moderator team uses these for frequently sent messages, helping us to be more efficient. You can always modify the macro text before sending/posting a message.
Let me know if this answers your question, or if I can provide you with more detail. Thanks!

I gotcha... these are simply a text entry macro for messages that we are posting ourselves, and not for other types of data manipulation that we could create on our end.
